Community Worship Picnic at Fagan Park

We are delighted to invite you to our Community Worship Picnic, a special day of fellowship, worship, and communal joy. This gathering will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Fagan Park, offering a serene backdrop for our day together.

• Date: Sunday, 12th May 2024
• Worship Service: Starts at 10:30 AM
• Location: Fagan Park, Carrs Road Car Park, Galston NSW 2159, Australia
• Picnic Spot: Carrs Road 1 Picnic Shelter (Shelter booked from 9 AM to 5 PM)

Carrs Road 1 Picnic Shelter

We have reserved the Carrs Road 1 Picnic Shelter for the entire day to ensure we have a private space for worship, fellowship, and fun activities. This shelter is surrounded by nature, close to convenient facilities like toilets and electric BBQs.

Parking Information:

Please note there are two car parks available at Fagan Park – the Carrs Rd car park and the Arcadia Rd car park. Our event will be near the Carrs Rd car park. To avoid any confusion on the day, we recommend using the Carrs Rd car park for closer and easier access to our picnic spot.(Fees apply for vehicle parking and accept both card and coin)

Bring Along Your Loved Ones:

This day is not just for our church members; it's an open invitation to your friends and family too. It's an opportunity to welcome new faces into our community and share a day filled with the spirit of togetherness and worship.

Activities Include:

• Worship Service: Join us for an uplifting service starting at 10:30 AM.
• Group Photo Session: We'll capture the moment with a group photo of our church family and friends. A wonderful keepsake of our time together.
• Fellowship and Fun: Enjoy the park's amenities, including electric BBQs, playgrounds for children, and serene garden spaces for prayer and reflection.

Fagan Park Guidelines:

• Sun Shelters: You may bring small portable sun shelters (up to 4m x 3m), secured with weights.
• BBQ Use: Electric BBQs are available ($1 for 25 mins) on a shared basis. Personal portable BBQs must be at least 50cm off the ground.
• Pets: Dogs on a leash are welcome to join in the fun.
• Respect the Park: Help us keep Fagan Park beautiful by cleaning up after yourselves and adhering to the park’s guidelines.
